There is news of an alleged acid attack on a neighbor in Delhi’s Uttam Nagar area following an argument. According to the news agency ANI, on Saturday night around 10 o’clock, a young man was walking a dog on the road when he was heard from neighbors and acid attacked.

The person who was attacked has been identified as Rajeshwar, a resident of Uttam Nagar, who is undergoing treatment at the trauma center of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The police have kept the accused in custody.

Police said that at around 10 pm, information was received at the Uttam Nagar police station that a fight had taken place and acid had been used. According to the Delhi Police, on Saturday night the victim’s son was taking his pet dog for a walk, when he reached in front of the accused person’s house, they started abusing him. After this the fight started and the accused attacked the father and son with acid. The police is investigating the matter

Abhishek Kumar, son of the acid attack victim, told that I had taken my dog ​​for a walk. As soon as I reached in front of my neighbor’s house they started abusing me. My father came to the rescue. But the argument escalated to such an extent that one of the accused threw acid on me which fell on my father. He has got injuries on his head.

After preliminary investigation, the police say that the medico-legal case (MLC) of the injured person has not been prepared yet. Prima facie it appears that the acid was toilet cleaner. We have recovered a toilet cleaner bottle from the house of the accused.
